Celebrating a New Chapter: Dallas Mavs Foundation and NBA Cares Unveil NBA Finals Legacy Project at East Dallas Club

The grand reveal of the NBA Finals Legacy Project was a day to remember. NBA Cares and the Dallas Mavericks Foundation came together to transform our East Dallas Club to commemorate the NBA Finals. This incredible collaboration resulted in a brand-new gym, state-of-the-art STEM lab, up-to-date furniture, fun games, and more, all unveiled during the event

We were honored to host several notable guests, including NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum, Dallas Mavs CEO Cynt Marshall, and Dallas Mavs Announcer Mark Followill. Adding to the excitement were appearances by Dallas Mavericks players Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington, and Jaden Hardy, who brought immense energy and inspiration to the event.

The celebration featured a fun digital scavenger hunt, a thrilling basketball clinic where our young athletes learned from the NBA pros, and a variety of games.

This event was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to the power of community and collaboration. The impact of the new facilities will be felt for years to come, providing our Club youth with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this transformation possible. Thank you to the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Mavericks Foundation, NBA,  NBA Cares, the dedicated volunteers, and the community members who joined us. Your support and generosity have truly made a difference!
