OUR MISSION
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas (BGCD) is one of the leading youth-serving organizations in North Texas, positively impacting over 8,700 children ages 6-18. Our programs, based on the intellectual, physical, and social needs of youth, enhance character and self-esteem, are educational and fun, and contribute to youth fulfilling their potential. As soon as our youth members walk through our doors, they enter an environment of stability, consistency, and physical and emotional safety. Our Clubs are located in neighborhoods where the greatest need exists and we’re open when kids need us most: after school, during spring break and winter break, and all day during the summer. Programming is offered in three core areas to meet the diverse needs and interests of our Club members:
- Academic Success
- Good Character & Citizenship
- Healthy Lifestyles
Beyond core programming, our Clubs provide:
- A safe place to learn and grow
- Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals
- Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences
- Hope and opportunity
