Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas recently named David Shallenberger as its new Vice President of Advancement.
Shallenberger originally joined BGCD in 2018 and has since been a driving force behind our mission, previously serving as VP of Resource Development (2019–2022) and most recently as Director of Grants Administration. With a rich background in fundraising and nonprofit leadership—including roles at Inner City Law Center in Los Angeles and Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support—Dave brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team.
In addition to his professional achievements, Dave is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is actively involved in the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where he previously served on the board.
“As VP of Advancement, I’m deeply committed to doing ‘Whatever it Takes’ to ensure our mission succeeds and that every Club kid has the resources they need to thrive,” said Shallenberger. “Together, we’re addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our time, and I’m excited to contribute to this life-changing work.”
