Women’s History Month holds deep meaning for me. As a woman, a mother of two daughters, and the Interim President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dallas, I cherish this time to honor the strength, resilience, and achievements of those who came before me. And it reaffirms BGCD’s commitment to empowering the next generation of female leaders.
Every day, we welcome young girls into our Clubs, each with big dreams and even bigger potential. They are future innovators and changemakers. It’s our responsibility to provide them with the resources, mentorship, and encouragement to help turn those dreams into reality.
I am dedicated to fostering an environment where young women see no limits to what they can achieve. As a mother, I have always nurtured my daughters to grow up knowing they are strong, capable, and deserve every opportunity.
This Women’s History Month, let’s not only celebrate how far we’ve come but also recognize the work still ahead. Let’s lift each other up, invest in the next generation, and create a world where every girl has the chance to thrive.
To the young women of today: You are strong. You are capable. You have potential! Keep moving forward, and we are cheering you on every step of the way!
