Prom season is a memorable time for high schoolers, but for many teens, finding the perfect dress can be a daunting and costly task. That’s why Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas’ annual Prom Dress Extravaganza is an event that is not to be missed! This year, almost 80 teams attended.
The excitement kicked off as the first 50 teens through the door were greeted with exclusive swag bags filled with goodies from Neiman Marcus and JC Penney, along with a special gift from Kendra Scott, adding an extra touch of glamour to their prom preparations.
Once inside, teens were treated to free makeup demos and equipped with tips and tricks to perfect their prom night look.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the selection of free new and gently used gowns, shoes, and accessories. With a wide range of styles and sizes available, every teen had the opportunity to find their dream dress and make their prom night truly unforgettable.
Thanks to Comerica Bank’s Prom Dress Drive, and generous donations, teens browsed through racks of stunning pieces to find one that fit what they were looking for to complete their look.
Throughout the event, the tunes were pumping courtesy of DJ K Sprinkles, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere lively. As if that wasn’t enough, 97.9 The Beat emceed the event, adding an extra layer of excitement.
