Meet Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas Alumni Kristopher Vine! Kristopher is a fourth-year veterinarian student at Tuskegee University. Raised in Dallas, Texas, Kristopher is the oldest of seven siblings and has always had a love for animals.
He joined Mesquite Boys & Girls Club during his junior year of high school after a friend expressed how much they enjoyed coming to the Club. Kristopher participated in several teen programs, including Collegiate Steps, a college preparatory program where he received one of his first scholarships for college. He was also active in Passport to Manhood, a program that promotes and teaches responsibility to boys.
Through his development at BGCD, he found many friends, mentorship, and a place to belong. He enjoyed all the many activities that were offered at the Club and learned how to network with people from different backgrounds.
“If you are looking for something, you will definitively find it at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas. Whether it is support, friends, or family, you can find whatever you’re looking for.”
Kristopher Vine enjoys giving back to his community through mentoring young black men who are pursuing higher education and new veterinarian students.
Thank you Kristopher for staying connected with BGCD and mentoring others.
