Last week we had the honor of partnering with Fanatics and Dallas Cowboy Micah Parsons to bring Merch Madness to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas. Micah came out to our Grand Prairie Boys & Girls Club to play a game of basketball knockout, hand out sports hats, jerseys and apparel, and share a few words of wisdom. Micah believes it’s important to “not only play for the Dallas Cowboys, to stand up for the community, but it’s important to give back, that’s where the impact is. Whether it’s the Boys & Girls Club or any other events/organizations for the kids“.”
Micah is a former Club kid in his hometown of Harrisburg, Pa. He remembers the Club’s impact on him and wants to give back in the same way. He told us how the Club was a safe space for him to enjoy hanging out in a cool place—a place to play basketball or foosball.
This was a nationwide effort in collaboration with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Fanatics and a few NFL players who donated millions of dollars worth of sports gear. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Click here to see full coverage on the Dallas Morning News
