Dallas County youth invited to a week of experimenting, learning, and fun.

DALLAS, Feb. 18, 2019: Spring break is just a few weeks away and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas (BGCD), committed to serving the youth of the Dallas community, will be hosting STEM Camps at various clubs from March 11 to 15, 2019.

“As the demand for talented individuals in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields rise, BGCD wants to prepare the youth we serve to consider careers in these areas,” said Cherri Rowe, BCGD Vice President of Programs. “It is important that we offer kids the opportunity to explore their skills and interests to equip them for success in their future endeavors.”

Participating youth will not only enjoy daily activities, but two field trips are planned to further enhance the learning experience.

The camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with breakfast and lunch provided daily. The camps are open to all youth of Dallas County and priced at $60 for BGCD members and $80 for non-members.
